Flight figures
In 2023, 3.93 million passengers from the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region and beyond used Albrecht Dürer Airport for their journeys. This represents a 19.9 percent increase on 2022. “We are once again operating at full strength for the people and the economy in the region,” stressed CEO Dr. Michael Hupe. Demand remained stable throughout 2023 for the first time since the pandemic. The summer flight schedule included over 60 destinations, while the passenger load factor reached an all-time high of almost 82 percent. “People want to travel and, together with our partners, we give them the opportunity to do,” said Dr. Hupe.
Winter flight schedule
Nuremberg Airport’s 2024/25 winter flight schedule (28.10–30.03) features a wide range of destinations, including popular classics such as Spain, Egypt, and Turkey, as well as a new highlight: the Portuguese island of Madeira. With over 40 nonstop destinations, travelers can also soak up the sun in winter and discover new dream destinations.
